Lover's Banyan

On December 16, 1949, when Song Xilian, the former commander of the 14th Kuomintang Corps, and the remnants of his army fled through Bajiao Valley, more than 20 officers' families who could not bear to escape were entrusted to Jiayang Coal Mine. Two banyan trees were planted before the departure of a regimental officer and his wife, and the meeting was a witness to the reunion in the future. Later, most of the women who stayed in the mine remarried to the miners and regained their lives. Only this young woman accompanied Xiaoshu until she died of illness. Now the two towering banyan trees grow up close to each other, telling people this sad love story.
